FOR CHEAPER: MAYBELLINE DEFINE-A-LINE IS GOOD TOO! IT HAS A BUILT IN SHARPENER AND SMUDGE TOOL FOR ONLY $6!





3) FOUNDATION: COVERGIRL TRUBLEND IS AWESOMEEE OMG I HAVE TRIED SO MANY FOUNDATIONS AND THIS IS THE BEST! AND I HAVE REALLY BAD SKIN AND ITS GREAT!! SO NATURAL LOOKING BUT GREAT COVERAGE. 9!!!!





BUT IT WORKD EVEN BETTER WHEN YOU PUT IT OVER RIMMEL FIX AND PERFECT PRIMER ! $7 IT MAKES YOUR SKIN SMOOTH AND FLAWLESS BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR FOUNDATION! I CANT LIVE WITHOUT IT!

i would recommend asking someone who is close to your skintone to recommend specific colors for you, however..as its your first your year in high school i'd recommend a very natural look.when i was your age i was crazy for lipgloss and i also wore a little pencil eyeliner that was it though, i never wore anything else.


since youre young and have good skin...stay away from foundation and concealer! you don't need it! wait til youre older and you really need it before touching that stuff because it will screw up your skin if you have nice skin and don't need it.


make sure you have a great skin routine (as i know teenage years bring about lots of acne), wash, toner and moisturizer...to ensure you keep your skin in good shape for a long time. trust me, you will be very grateful in the future. always make sure your skin is moisturized (i recommend using a nighttime moisturizer as well), its the secret to great skin. when youre 50 you're skin will look 30!








edit: i agree that you should go on youtube to perfect your technique. queenofblendingMUA, monroemisfitmakeup, aboywearingmakeup panacea81 and makeupgeekTV are my favorites..they all have great technique. makeupgeekTV has a tutorial specifically for high school girls. enkoremakeup has the GREATEST tips! personally i don't like his technique but he has great tips on everything to do with makeup.
Ooh congrats! Hope you have a kickass high school experience.. im gonna be a sophmore.. my school kinda suck but oh well, gotta make the best out of it lol..


Anyway, since you have dark skin, I'd say..Stick with the dark eyeliner, bottom and top, black mascara..and add a touch of either silver, toffee, or even dark brown, or even dark black eye shadow..


You can always experiment in the mirror.


But for your skintone, I'd have to go with a toffee colour, or black if you're looking to be casual..


If not, then you could definatly rock a torquise, or light sky blue colour..and even red eye shadow!


Have fun in highschool! but not too much fun.. lol
go for some some soft gray eyeshadow (pic)


even out the skin tone under your eyes with some concealer that matches the rest of your face


highlight your cheeks to lift your cheekbones


and some clear gloss

lots of mascara to bring out your eyes, a light baje or sparkly brown sortof eye colour and just a little baby pink blusher on your cheeks :) x
